Yukata Dressing Workshop in Kyoto with Take Home Set

Experience Japanese culture with a women-only small-group yukata dressing workshop in Kyoto. Held at Gojo Paradiso near Kiyamachi Gojo and the Takase River, this experience is perfect for travelers who want to learn, wear, and take home a traditional Japanese yukata.

Begin with a simple introduction to yukata, a casual summer kimono worn at festivals, fireworks events, hot springs, and seasonal outings. Your instructor will explain the yukata, obi, and accessories used for dressing.

Next, follow step-by-step guidance as you learn how to wear the yukata and tie a simple obi bow. The instructor will support each guest so the final look is comfortable and beautiful.

After dressing, enjoy one drink at Gojo Paradiso and take photos with your own smartphone or camera. Depending on the weather, photos may be taken inside the venue or around the nearby Takase River area. In rain or bad weather, photos will be taken inside the venue only.

The yukata set you wear is included and can be taken home as a special souvenir from Kyoto.
