Meeting and pickup
Pickup is included from hotels, hostels, Airbnb accommodations, and the airport in Puerto Maldonado city center. Travelers must provide their accommodation details at least 24 hours before the tour departure.
Our team will contact passengers one day before the tour to confirm the exact pickup time. Please be ready in the hotel lobby or designated meeting point 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup.
For travelers arriving on the same day as the tour, we recommend booking flights that land before 11:00 A.M. to ensure enough time for coordination and transfer arrangements.

1Puerto Maldonado
Our journey begins in Puerto Maldonado at 8:00 A.M. After check-in, we will travel to Puerto Acosta and continue with a scenic boat ride along the Madre de Dios River. During the journey, travelers will enjoy beautiful Amazon landscapes before arriving at Paradise Tambopata EcoLodge, where local staff will welcome the group with tropical drinks. After settling into the lodge, we will explore rainforest trails through primary and secondary forest areas. Along the route, our guide will share information about the Amazon ecosystem, medicinal plants, native trees, insects, and local biodiversity, including the impressive lupuna tree.

2Rio Madre De Dios
Following lunch and some time to relax, we will enjoy a peaceful river activity on the Madre de Dios River, surrounded by stunning rainforest scenery and natural tranquility. In the afternoon, we will visit Monkey Island, located a short boat ride from the lodge. During the excursion, travelers may observe different monkey species living freely in their natural environment before returning to the lodge for rest. In the evening, we will take a guided river excursion to observe nocturnal wildlife and experience the sounds of the Amazon rainforest at night.

3Rio Madre De Dios
We will begin the day with breakfast surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest. Later, we will visit the canopy observation area, where travelers can enjoy panoramic forest views and walk through elevated bridges among the treetops. After lunch at the lodge, we will cross the Madre de Dios River and enter the Tambopata National Reserve. A guided walk through rainforest trails will allow us to observe a variety of flora and fauna native to the Amazon region.

4Lago Sandoval
pon arrival at Sandoval Lake, we will continue the experience aboard traditional wooden boats while exploring the calm waters and peaceful landscapes of the reserve. Depending on weather and wildlife activity, travelers may observe birds, giant river otters, and other native species. Before sunset, we will return to the lodge and later enjoy a guided evening walk to discover the rainforest atmosphere after dark and learn more about nocturnal species.

5Puerto Maldonado
Early in the morning, we will travel to the Collpa de Loros (Parrot Clay Lick), where travelers can observe parrots and parakeets gathering in a colorful natural display typical of the Madre de Dios region. After breakfast at the lodge, we will continue with a traditional fishing activity in a nearby creek while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the rainforest. Finally, we will return to Puerto Maldonado by boat, bringing unforgettable memories of the Amazon’s landscapes, wildlife, and natural beauty.
