Discover the excitement of kitesurfing with a private lesson designed especially for complete beginners. At 24Kiteboard Kitesurf School, you'll learn the essential foundations in a safe, structured and enjoyable environment, guided by experienced IKO-certified instructors.
Your lesson begins with understanding the wind, learning how to set up the equipment correctly, and becoming familiar with the safety systems before flying the kite. Once you're comfortable, you'll practise controlling the kite on land and, depending on the conditions and your progress, begin your first exercises in shallow water.
Using premium Cabrinha and Core equipment, you'll build confidence step by step while developing the skills that form the foundation of every kitesurfer. With personalised coaching and a relaxed atmosphere, you'll leave your first lesson with the knowledge and confidence to continue your kitesurfing journey.

Meeting and pickup
Meet at R. das Dálias 89, Costa da Caparica. From the parking, follow the sandy path to the beach, a 2-min walk to the shoreline. Look for our 24Kiteboard flag and instructors. Your instructor waits from your start time with all gear ready. Lost? Call/WhatsApp +351 922 242 522.
What to expect
On arrival you'll meet your IKO-certified instructor for a private, one-on-one session (maximum two students), starting with a safety briefing and a step-by-step introduction to kite control, body positioning and wind dynamics. The waist-deep water offers a safe, comfortable place to learn, while nearby deeper water gives experienced riders room to challenge themselves.
Your 2-hour lesson combines theory and hands-on practice, starting with land-based kite handling before moving into the water. You'll ride premium Cabrinha and Core equipment and wear a radio helmet, so your instructor coaches you in real time and helps you progress at your own pace. All equipment, insurance and your IKO certification card are included.
Whether it's your first time or you're refining your technique, this is the perfect blend of learning and adventure in one of Portugal's most scenic coastal settings.
