We meet on 12th st. street across from the Capitol, with Lavaca Street in between the meeting point and the Capitol. There's a parking garage here as well as street parking. Our guide will arrive in a white Ford Bronco, with it's hazard lights on and roof open, that way you can spot him easily!
Perched on a bluff overlooking our estate vineyard, Driftwood Estate Winery offers thoughtfully crafted wines and sweeping views of the Texas Hill Country.
Duchman Family Winery remains one of the top wine destinations in Texas. The facility was listed by HGTV as one of the 20 most picturesque wineries in the country. All of the winery’s current releases can be sampled and purchased at the winery’s tasting room and the estate’s beautiful grounds are open to visitors. Pick a spot at one of the oak shaded picnic tables, or grab a seat in the winery hallway with views of the production facilities and wine barrels.
Fall Creek Vineyards was founded by Ed and Susan Auler, Texas cattle ranchers who discovered a passion for wine during a trip to France. Recognizing the Texas Hill Country’s similarities to European wine regions, they planted their first vineyard, which grew from 1/4 acre to 7 1/2 acres. Named after nearby Fall Creek Falls, the winery embraces a site-specific philosophy and focuses on varietals like Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Grenache, and Tempranillo. As Texas wine pioneers, the Aulers helped elevate the state's wine reputation.
