Set off on an unforgettable adventure to the turquoise waters around Mnemba Island — a protected marine reserve known for wild dolphins and vibrant coral reefs. Our approach always puts animal and nature first. We don't chase or disturb the wildlife; all encounters happen naturally and respectfully.
Your day begins with a hotel pickup around 8:00 AM (if selected). From Muyuni or Matemwe Beach, board a boat to Mnemba Atoll and watch for dolphins — if they appear, you may swim nearby with care and respect.
Around 10:30 AM, enjoy guided snorkeling over coral reefs full of tropical fish. All equipment and life jackets are included.
Around midday, relax on a white sandbank (tide permitting) with fresh tropical fruits and refreshments. Return to shore around 1:00 PM, followed by hotel drop-off (if selected).
This half-day experience combines marine wildlife, snorkeling, and island relaxation around Mnemba Island with a responsible and authentic approach to nature.

Exact pickup time will be confirmed 24 hours before your safari, based on the hotel pickup schedule.
You’ll meet our Ocean Blue team directly at Muyuni Beach. Look for the large Ocean Blue flag and our crew wearing Ocean Blue T-shirts — you can’t miss them! For easier navigation, here are the GPS coordinates you can use on Google Maps: 5°48'32.9"S 39°21'33.0"E
What to expect
Your day starts with a hotel pickup around 8:00 AM (if selected), followed by a boat departure from Muyuni or Matemwe Beach to Mnemba atoll. Keep watch for dolphins — if they appear, you may swim nearby in a respectful and safe way.
Around 10:30 AM, enjoy guided snorkeling over coral reefs full of tropical fish. Equipment and life jackets are included.
Around midday, relax on a white sandbank (tide permitting) with fresh fruits and refreshments, then return to shore around 1:00 PM and back to your hotel (if selected transfer).
