With your local guide, you’ll learn about native plants, medicinal trees, and the forest’s important ecological role. The highlight of the visit is meeting the famous Zanzibar red colobus monkeys — one of the rarest endemic primates in the world — often seen moving freely through the trees. You may also spot other monkey species, colorful birds, and butterflies in their natural habitat. The experience continues along a peaceful mangrove boardwalk, offering a different perspective of the forest and its unique coastal ecosystem.

2Salaam Cave Aquarium
Salaam Cave, a unique natural site known for its giant marine turtles in a calm coastal setting.
