Sea Safari Norte - La Paz — Mobulas, Orcas & Dolphins

8 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

Unlike any other tour in La Paz, the Sea Safari Norte is a true wildlife expedition — not a fixed itinerary. Maximum 6 guests, private boat for group bookings or join a shared departure as an individual. We head north into open water searching for mobula rays, orcas, dolphins, humpback and blue whales, and giant mantas — adapting the entire day to what the Sea of Cortez is showing. When animals appear, you go in. Every departure is completely different from the last. Fresh ceviche is prepared and served on a remote beach midday. Plus a bonus stop at Balandra Beach — voted Mexico's most beautiful beach — before returning to the Malecón. Bilingual marine biologist guides throughout. This is the Sea of Cortez the way Jacques Cousteau experienced it. The world's aquarium is your backyard for a day — don't spend it on a crowded boat with a preplanned schedule.

What to expect

This is not a tour. This is an 8-hour search for everything the Sea of Cortez holds — and it holds more marine species than any ocean on earth. The Hook's Sea Safari Norte departs at 7:30am with a maximum of 6 guests, heading north into open water.
You might encounter mobula rays leaping in their thousands. You might find orcas. Dolphins are nearly guaranteed. Humpback and blue whales seasonally. Giant mantas. The guide adapts the entire day to what the sea is showing — when animals appear, you go in. A quick stop at Balandra Beach is included.
Available as a private boat for group bookings, or join a shared departure for individual bookings — either way maximum 6 guests total. No two days are the same. Fresh ceviche is prepared and served on a remote beach midday. Your bilingual guide provides real-time marine biology interpretation throughout.
What's included: full wetsuit, snorkel equipment, all entrance fees, beach ceviche lunch, bilingual guide. Maximum 6 guests. Year-round departures, 7:30am start. Private boat available for group bookings.
