    Honey Centre Warkworth

    Honey Centre Warkworth is a very popular tourist stop located in Warkworth, around 60 minutes north of Auckland. It is famous for New Zealand honey, especially Manuka honey. Visitors can see live bees in glass hives, learn how honey is made, and taste different honey flavours for free.

    One of the main attractions is the live sheep shearing show, where visitors can watch how sheep wool is removed and learn about New Zealand’s farming culture.     Maungawhau / Mount Eden

    Mount Eden Summit, also known as Maungawhau, is a dormant volcanic cone and the highest natural point in Auckland at about 196 metres. It is located close to the city centre and is a very popular tourist spot because of its amazing 360-degree views of Auckland, including the skyline, harbour, and surrounding islands. Visitors can walk up to the summit in about 10–15 minutes using well-made walking tracks and wooden boardwalks. At the top, there is a large volcanic crater that is around 50 metres deep, which makes the place vey unique. The summit is free to visit and is especially popular for sunrise and sunset views.
