This experience combines some of Pico Island’s most authentic landscapes, including trails, volcanic landscapes, traditional vineyards and sea views. Participants will walk along the mountain trail, visit the Vineyard area of the Old Creation and enjoy a special lunch.

When the weather allows, lunch will be served abroad as a picnic with finger food. If the weather conditions are not favorable, it will be held in a restaurant. After lunch, guests will have a wine taste, followed by a little surprise before the return and completion of the tour.

The transfer/pick-up will be previously agreed with the customer, according to the place of accommodation and availability. We ask that travellers be ready 15 minutes before the scheduled time. If they do not need a transfer, they should go directly to the indicated meeting point.

The meeting point will be indicated on the Reservation confirmation. Guests are requested to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity. The transfer will only be included when previously selected or combined through the Viator platform.

What to expect

In this experience, travelers start by walking the Mountain Trail, exploring nature, volcanic landscapes and the authenticity of Pico Island. Afterwards, we continue to the iconic old Creation vineyards, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the landscape between volcanic stone, sea and vineyard reveals one of the most unique images of the Azores.

After the walk, lunch will be served. When the weather allows, the lunch will be made outdoors in a premium picnic with finger food, surrounded by nature and the Pico landscape. If the weather conditions are not favorable, lunch will be served at the restaurant.

After lunch, participants will have a wine tasting experience, where they can taste local wines and learn more about the island’s wine tradition. Then there will be a special surprise, designed to make this experience even more memorable.

After the surprise, we return to the starting point to finish the tour.
