    Sandfly Bay Track

    ️ Sandfly Bay – a beautiful, secluded sandy beach surrounded by dramatic cliffs and dunes. New Zealand fur seals – often seen around the beach and rocky coastline. Sea lions – Sandfly Bay is well known for them, especially on the beach. Yellow-eyed penguins (Hoiho) – they may be seen in the area, although sightings are not guaranteed. Dramatic coastal scenery – spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, cliffs and surrounding peninsula. Native coastal landscape – dunes and natural vegetation make it feel very wild and untouched.
