Hike Lapland's most photographed winter forest. Riisitunturi National Park is famous for tykky — crown snow so heavy it bends the pines into frozen sculptures. A marked 4.3 km trail climbs at an easy-to-moderate pace to the 465 m summit and its panoramic views over the fells.
GUIDED HIKE — small group, max 8
Pickup in Rovaniemi, then a 2.5-hour drive east. Your guide leads the trail, builds a campfire for grilled sausages and hot drinks, and photographs the day for you. Photos are sent to you free afterwards.
BUS TOUR — self-guided
Departs 08:00 from the bus stop at Korkalonkatu 23, next to Pub Uitto. We drive you to the park and you walk the same marked trail at your own pace. The bus leaves Riisitunturi at 14:00, with a service-station stop on the way back. Onboard WC. No guide, photos or campfire.
Suitable from age 6 with moderate fitness. Dress warmly — winter clothing is not included. In extreme cold (about -20 to -25 °C) we may cancel for safety, with an immediate full refund.

Meeting and pickup
We will inform you of the exact pickup time before 8PM on the evening before the tour. City centre pickup point is the bus stop at Korkalonkatu 23, right next to Pub Uitto. Santa Claus Village pickup is in front of the reception building. The driver/guide will pick you up by name.
