Traditional Turkish Ebru Art Workshop in Antalya

Try your hand at ebru — the centuries-old Turkish art of paper marbling — in the heart of Kaleiçi, Antalya's historic old town. This hands-on workshop needs no previous experience: your instructor guides you through mixing color on water and transferring your one-of-a-kind pattern onto paper. Because every result depends on the natural movement of water and paint, no two artworks are ever alike. The standard experience covers one sheet of paper and takes about 10–15 minutes, plus roughly an hour of safe drying time before your finished piece is rolled into a protective tube, ready to travel home. Want to take the experience further? Extra paper sheets, or ebru patterns applied to items like fans, scarves, tote bags, or bookmarks, are available for an additional fee.
