Three hours on a bike covers what takes most of a day on foot: the Gothic Quarter and the cathedral, Gaudí's houses on Passeig de Gràcia, the Sagrada Família, Parc de la Ciutadella and El Born. Your guide lives in Barcelona and knows it, and rides with a small group at a pace that leaves time to stop, ask questions and take photos.
The route keeps to bike lanes and quieter streets, so it works whether or not you cycle at home. Choose a classic bike or an e-bike, which takes the effort out of the climb through the Eixample.
Before we part, your guide gives you a short list of places for the rest of your stay, the ones they go to themselves. Most people ride with us on their first day and say the rest of the trip is easier for it.
