Enjoy a private 3-hour guided tour of ancient Rome with a professional guide, choosing from three Colosseum access options:
REGULAR LEVELS
Choose this option for a 1-hour guided tour of the Colosseum's Regular Levels, followed by a 1.5-hour guided tour of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Arena Floor and Underground access are NOT included.
ARENA FLOOR
Choose this option for a 1-hour guided Colosseum tour with direct backdoor access to the Arena Floor, and enjoy the gladiators’ perspective, followed by a 1.5-hour guided tour to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Regular Levels and Underground access are NOT included.
UNDERGROUND
For the most complete experience, choose the underground option. You’ll visit the Regular Levels, Arena Floor, and Underground in a 1-hour guided tour, followed by a 1.5-hour guided tour of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
Please note that the Upper Levels of the Colosseum are not included in any option.

Meeting and pickup
Meet us at the green kiosk at street level outside “Colosseo” metro station - Line B (blue line). Look for a member of staff holding a yellow Touriks sign. There’s also an upper floor exit of the metro station; please meet us downstairs. Please arrive 30 minutes before your starting time.

Choose your preferred option at booking, subject to availability: REGULAR LEVELS - Regular Levels only. No Arena or Underground access. ARENA FLOOR - Arena only. Discover the Roman Forum and immerse yourself in the ruins of ancient temples and walk the paths of emperors and senators. Learn how this area was once the beating heart of ancient Rome. Hear about the Vestal Virgins and see their gardens and the pagan temple of the Goddess Vesta they served. Learn about the Basilica Julia and the penal system of ancient Rome and its effects on Christianity. See the temple of Castor and Pollux and the Arch of Titus and learn about the sacking of Jerusalem. Discover the Senate House, where senators met to decide the fate of the Roman Republic and how that climaxed with the murder and cremation of Julius Caesar.

3Palatine Hill
Continue to the Palatine Hill, one of the most exclusive areas in ancient Rome. Discover the stories about the emperors palaces that stood here and hear the legend of Romulus and Remus, placing the foundation of the city right here. From the heights of the Palatine Hill, enjoy breathtaking views over the Colosseum and Roman Forum, as well as the Circus Maximus, one of the largest structures for public games and chariot racing ever built.

- This tour is subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
- Flying drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden. Neither trolleys and big backpacks nor animals are allowed into the Colosseum. Glass/metal containers and sprays of any kind are also not allowed
- The order in which the sites are visited during the tour can vary; either the Colosseum or Forum and Palatine Hill will come first
- A moderate amount of walking and steps are involved; wear comfortable walking shoes
