Choose between two different tour options when booking:
1-HOUR GUIDED TOUR
Choose this option to explore the Colosseum's Arena Floor with your private guide. Afterwards, your ticket includes unguided entry to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, which you can explore independently.
3-HOUR GUIDED TOUR
Choose this option to explore the Colosseum's Arena Floor and the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill with your private guide.
With both options, Colosseum access includes the Arena Floor only. Access to the Regular Levels, Underground, and Upper Levels of the Colosseum is NOT included in any option.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet us at the green kiosk at street level outside “Colosseo” metro station - Line B (blue line). Look for a member of staff holding a yellow Touriks sign. There’s also an upper floor exit of the metro station; please meet us downstairs. Please arrive 30 minutes before your starting time.
Your tour either ends at the Colosseum or at the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill, depending op the option you choose.

Enjoy a private guided visit of the Colosseum’s Arena Floor with your expert guide. Enter through the Gladiator’s Gate, step onto the Arena Floor itself, and see the amphitheatre from the perspective of the gladiators who once stood here. Choose between the following two options: 1-HOUR TOUR - Guided visit of the Arena Floor. Unguided entry to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill is included to explore independently. 3-HOUR TOUR - Guided visit of the Arena Floor, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. Both options include Arena Floor access only. No access to the Regular Levels, Underground, or Upper Levels of the Colosseum.

2Foro Romano
Included with the 3-hour option only. Continue with your private guide into the Roman Forum and explore the political, religious, and social heart of ancient Rome. Walk among the remains of temples, basilicas, and public buildings where emperors, senators, and citizens once shaped Roman life. See highlights such as the Temple of Vesta and the House of the Vestal Virgins, the Basilica Julia, the Temple of Castor and Pollux, the Arch of Titus, and the Senate House. 3Palatine Hill
Included with the 3-hour option only. Continue with your private guide to the Palatine Hill, where legend places the foundation of Rome by Romulus and Remus. Walk the paths once used by Roman emperors and explore the hill that later became home to prestigious imperial palaces. From its elevated position, enjoy sweeping views over the Roman Forum and Colosseum, and take in a bird’s-eye view over the Circus Maximus stretching below.

- You will need to pass through strict and mandatory security checks to enter the Colosseum
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travellers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Trolleys and large backpacks are not allowed inside, neither are glass/metal bottles or sprays (e.g. perfumes etc.)
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the starting time
- Drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden at the monuments
- Pets are not permitted
