Enjoy a 3-hour guided tour of the Colosseum's Arena Floor and Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with your expert guide. Enter through the Gladiator's Gate, step onto the Arena Floor itself, and see the amphitheatre from the gladiator's perspective.
Choose between the following two group options:
SMALL-GROUP TOUR | MAX. 7 GUESTS
Choose this option for a more personal, semi-private experience in a small group of maximum 7 guests. With fewer people, it's easier to stay close to your guide, hear the explanations clearly, and ask questions along the way.
PRIVATE TOUR
Choose this option for the same 3-hour guided experience exclusively with your own private guide, with more flexibility and more opportunities to interact with your guide throughout the tour.
With both options, Colosseum access includes the Arena Floor only.
Access to the Regular Levels, Underground, and Upper Levels of the Colosseum is NOT included.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet us at the green kiosk at street level outside “Colosseo” metro station - Line B (blue line). Look for a member of staff holding a yellow Touriks sign. There’s also an upper floor exit of the metro station; please meet us downstairs. Please arrive 30 minutes before your starting time.
Your tour ends at the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill.

Enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator's Gate and step directly onto the Arena Floor, where gladiators once fought and ancient spectacles unfolded before thousands of spectators. Take in the amphitheatre from the centre of the action and experience the Colosseum from a gladiator's perspective. Choose between a SMALL-GROUP TOUR OF MAXIMUM 7 GUESTS or a PRIVATE TOUR when booking. Colosseum access includes the Arena Floor only. No access to the Regular Levels, Underground, or Upper levels.

Continue with your guide into the Roman Forum and explore the political, religious, and social heart of ancient Rome. Walk among the remains of temples, basilicas, and public buildings where emperors, senators, and citizens once shaped Roman life. See highlights such as the Temple of Vesta and the House of the Vestal Virgins, the Basilica Julia, the Temple of Castor and Pollux, the Arch of Titus, and the Senate House. 3Palatine Hill
Head up to the Palatine Hill, where legend places the foundation of Rome by Romulus and Remus. Walk the paths once used by Roman emperors and explore the hill that later became home to prestigious imperial palaces. From its elevated position, enjoy sweeping views over the Roman Forum and Colosseum, and take in a bird's-eye view of the Circus Maximus stretching out below.

- IMPORTANT: After entering the participants' names during the booking process, please specify in the “Special Requirements” field who the adults and children are, so we can issue the correct Colosseum tickets. Missing information may result in denied entry.
- Please be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the starting time.
- Please provide the full names of all travellers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travellers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Travellers younger than 18 years old must present a valid document or proof of ID
- You will need to pass through strict and mandatory security checks to enter the Colosseum
- Trolleys and large backpacks are not allowed inside, neither are glass/metal bottles or sprays (e.g. perfumes etc.)
- Drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden at the monuments
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
