Fishing conditions vary depending on weather, tides, and season. While we always choose locations that offer the best opportunities, catching fish cannot be guaranteed. Regardless of the catch, you'll enjoy an authentic Arctic evening around the campfire with local food, stories, and spectacular coastal scenery.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
In front of the Quality Hotel Grand Tromsø. Your mini Bus will be parked before departure. If arrived early, you are welcome to wait inside the hotel lobby, where we have a sales desk. Your guide will be there to greet them before the tour begins.
What to expect
After departing Tromsø by minibus, we'll drive to a carefully selected fishing location known for its peaceful surroundings and excellent fishing opportunities. Your experienced local guide will introduce you to traditional fishing techniques and provide all the equipment you need.
Whether you're an experienced angler or trying fishing for the first time, this tour is designed for everyone. Common catches include cod, coalfish, haddock,
and other seasonal species.
Once the fishing is done, we'll gather around a crackling campfire on the shore. If you're lucky enough to catch fish, we'll prepare it the traditional Norwegian way as kokfisk (freshly boiled fish) and enjoy it together by the fire. Dont Worry of you dont catch any. We will still prepare someting to eat.
Throughout the evening, your guide will share stories about local traditions, Arctic life, and the history of fishing in Northern Norway.
