Drop-off time Expected to return to the hotel at 6:00 PM.

Hotels within the Fourth Ring Road in Beijing provide pick-up service.
If your accommodation is located outside the Fourth Ring Road, an additional transfer fee will apply.
Please provide us with your hotel address after booking so that we can confirm the surcharge and availability.

The price of this tour does not include transfer services from Beijing Capital Airport, Daxing Airport, Beijing Railway Station, or Beijing South Railway Station. If airport/train station transfer is required, it can be arranged as an additional service at an extra cost.

Your English-speaking guide will send you a message via email or WeChat the day before the tour to confirm your exact pick-up time and meeting point at the hotel lobby.

The English-speaking guide will arrive at the hotel lobby 10minutes in advance for pick-up. The waiting time is limited to 20 minutes. If you do not show up within the waiting time, it will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be given.

We cannot guarantee pick-up at non-hotel accommodations (private apartments, homestays), as some property lobbies restrict outside vehicles and drivers from entering.

If you are staying in an apartment, please contact us after booking to confirm feasibility.

The English-speaking tour guide will meet travelers at the designated meeting point near Tiananmen Square, at the entrance of the Grand Hotel Beijing (English-speaking guide only, no vehicle). Guests need to go there by themselves. Then the English guide Wait with a sign bearing the guest's name.

    Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall & Ming Tombs with Private English Guide

    Mutianyu Great Wall

    At 8:00 AM, meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel in downtown Beijing, then take a private air-conditioned vehicle to the spectacular Mutianyu Great Wall, located in Huairou District, Beijing, 80 kilometers from the city center. The estimated drive time is 1.5 hours. At 9:30 AM, enjoy a 2-3 hour guided hiking tour at Mutianyu Great Wall, with photo opportunities and a leisurely stroll. Your certified English-speaking guide will tell you stories about the comfortable hiking routes as well as the history, architectural structure, and culture of the Great Wall. At 12:30 PM, take a lunch break (lunch is not included; your English-speaking guide can recommend authentic local restaurants).

    Ming Tombs (Ming Shishan Ling)

    At 1:30 PM, take a 1-hour drive to the Ming Tombs scenic area. Visit the open imperial mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty — the tomb of Zhu Di, the founder of the Forbidden City. Your English-speaking guide will explain the site selection of the tombs and the customs of the Ming Tombs. At 4:30 PM, end the tour and return to your hotel in downtown Beijing by private air-conditioned vehicle. Estimated arrival time at the hotel is 6:00 PM

    At 10:00 AM, continue on foot to the Palace Museum (Forbidden City). Enjoy a guided tour along the central axis lasting approximately 2-2.5 hours, learning about the stories of Ming and Qing emperors, palace architecture, and anecdotes of royal life. At 12:00 PM, take a lunch break (meal at your own expense; your guide can recommend nearby local restaurants).

    At 1:00 PM, take a car to the Temple of Heaven. Explore the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Echo Wall, and the Circular Mound Altar, learning about ancient imperial sacrificial ceremonies.

    Summer Palace (Yiheyuan)

    At 3:00 PM, continue to the Summer Palace—the best-preserved imperial garden in China. Tour the Long Corridor, Kunming Lake, and the royal pavilions and towers with your guide's commentary. At 5:30 PM, after concluding the Summer Palace tour, the private air-conditioned car will take you back to your downtown Beijing hotel. The tour service ends here. Estimated time to return to the hotel is 6:30 PM
