Create your unique masterpiece under Kayoko’s guidance. Afterward, enjoy MATCHA and Japanese sweets served with Nanbu Tekki ironware, surrounded by authentic Arimatsu Shibori craftsmanship.

[Lunch and Walk]
Conclude your session with lunch and a guided stroll through the historic streets of ARIMATSU to experience the authentic heart of Japanese culture.

What's Included

Kayoko will take you out for lunch. It is better to make a reservation at least a few days before the event. By e-mail, Kayoko will ask you the type of food you prefer for lunch.
Japanese tea and snacks.
Ikebana tools and vases are for rent only. You may purchase with extra fee.
Transportation by taxi or by subway to Tokushige Station is not included.

Meeting point

Meet Kayoko at the ticket gate of Tokushige Station. It is the last stop of subway Sakuradori Line. There are two ticket gates. Meet at the ticket gate close to the ticketing machines.

9:30 [Meet at Tokushige Station]
Meet Kayoko, a Sogetsu-ryu 1st Grade Instructor, at Tokushige Station. Enjoy a private drive to her suburban Nagoya studio to begin your floral journey.

10:00 [Matcha & Introduction]
Relax with MATCHA and Japanese sweets. Watch an intimate demonstration using seasonal materials like FORSYTHIA, AOMOJI, or ASIAN LILY, while learning professional techniques to enhance natural beauty.

10:30 [Creation & Photography]
Compose your unique Ikebana masterpiece under Kayoko’s expert guidance. Afterward, capture the perfect shot using professional studio lighting and backdrops. Conclude the session with sencha tea and rice crackers while reflecting on your work.

12:15 [Seasonal Japanese Lunch]
Enjoy a seasonal lunch in or around the historic Arimatsu district with Kayoko.

13:15 [Arimatsu Tour]
Explore Arimatsu’s historic streets. Kayoko will guide you through the area and can assist with local shopping.
