    Day 1

    Rainbow Mountain

    Day 1: ATV, Valle Rojo, Mountain of Colors, and Pacchanta We will leave Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. heading to Cusipata, where we will enjoy a typical Andean breakfast. Then we will continue up to 4,500 m a.s.l., the starting point of the ATV adventure, with a brief safety orientation. We will tour the spectacular Red Valley (4,750 m a.s.l.) in ATV, surrounded by reddish mountains, alpacas, and unique Andean landscapes. We will continue to the Red Mountain, where we will take a hike of approximately 30 minutes to the Colors Mountain viewpoint – Vinicunca (5,036 m a.s.l.). After enjoying the views and taking photographs, we will return on ATV for lunch. In the afternoon, we will travel to Pacchanta, where we will stay in rural cabins and be able to relax in its natural hot springs, surrounded by an impressive Andean landscape and a starry sky.

    7 lagoons of Ausangate and Cusco

    Ausangate 7 Lagunas

    After a typical Andean breakfast, we will begin the hike on the impressive 7 Lakes circuit of Ausangate, one of the most spectacular natural routes in Cusco. For approximately 4 to 5 hours, we will traverse high mountain landscapes and visit lakes of different colors and sizes, such as Puca Cocha, Patacocha, Alqacocha, Laguna Azul, and Otorongo, surrounded by the majestic snow-capped peaks of Ausangate. Along the route we will enjoy incredible views of the Andes, Andean fauna, and a special connection with the Quechua worldview. The hike is finished, we will return to Pacchanta to enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by the local community. Finally, we will embark on the journey back to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
