What to expect
Join us for a private three-hour fishing charter on Lake Hāwea, reserved exclusively for your group. Meet your skipper at the Lake Hāwea boat ramp, step aboard, and head out onto one of New Zealand’s most peaceful and scenic alpine lakes.
After a short safety briefing, your skipper will set up the fishing gear and explain the plan for the trip. Using downriggers, you’ll target lake-dwelling trout and salmon while learning about the fishing techniques, local conditions, and the species found in Lake Hāwea.
