Often called the “underground cathedral” of Bulgaria, the cave reveals a magical world of stalactites and stalagmites shaped over millions of years. The cave is about 400 meters long and the tour there takes about 1 hour and you will be able to take some amazing photos! Please have in mind that the temperature inside is constantly around 10 – 14 degrees, so even in the summer season you will need to bring a jacket or sweatshirt with you!
After exploring the cave, stop for a lunch break in a traditional restaurant in the village of Yablanitsa (lunch not included).
After lunch, continue through scenic mountain landscapes to the picturesque Glozhene Monastery, dramatically perched on a rocky hilltop, overlooking the surrounding valleys.
