At Sam Sharpe Square, your tour guide will give you a quick walk through of Jamaica’s history and city life. You’ll see the statue of Sam Sharpe and learn about his role in leading the 1831 slave rebellion. The guide will also point out old colonial buildings, the courthouse area, and explain how the square was once part of Jamaica’s justice system. You may pass the old holding “cage” and hear its history, then get a feel for modern Montego Bay with vendors, music, and everyday local activity all around you. This stop is packed with culture, history, and real local atmosphere.

2Hip Strip
During the day on the Hip Strip Gloucester Avenue this is your main shopping stop. Your guide will take you to souvenir and duty-free shops where you can buy gifts like Jamaican rum, coffee, T-shirts, wood carvings, and other local items. You’ll get helpful tips on pricing and where to find good quality products. It’s a relaxed, walkable area along the ocean with time to browse, take photos, and enjoy the lively Montego Bay atmosphere.

3Hip Strip
Margaritaville Montego Bay is a popular beachfront spot right on the Hip Strip. During the day, your guide may stop here so you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the ocean views. It’s a fun, laid back stop where guests can unwind, listen to music, and enjoy the beach vibe before continuing the tour or heading back.
