Our 4×4 safari Land Cruisers are equipped with a rear luggage compartment that can comfortably accommodate one medium-sized suitcase (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs) and one small carry-on bag per guest. Soft-sided bags are recommended, as they are easier to fit in the luggage area. If you are traveling with extra or oversized luggage, please inform us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Early morning pick-up from your Dar es Salaam hotel and 3-4 hour drive south to Selous Game Reserve, passing through rural villages and scenic landscapes. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon at around 4:00 PM, embark on a thrilling boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, colorful birdlife, and sometimes elephants drinking at the riverbanks. Enjoy the peaceful sunset before returning to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

2Nyerere National Park
After an early breakfast at around 06:30 AM, depart for a full-day game drive in the vast Nyerere National Park (formerly known as Selous Game Reserve), one of Africa’s largest and most untouched wildlife sanctuaries. Explore its diverse landscapes and rich wildlife, where you may encounter large herds of elephants and buffaloes, prides of lions, giraffes, zebras, and impalas roaming freely. The park is also renowned for its population of the rare African wild dogs, making it a truly special safari destination. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a safe vantage point within the park, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the sounds of the wild. After an exciting full-day adventure, at approximately 03:00 PM, begin your return drive to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel, airport, or preferred location within the city.
