Tarapoto (Pass by)
We’ll begin our tour from Tarapoto, heading toward the community of Shapaja, located approximately 23 kilometers from the city. Upon arrival, we’ll set out on a hike lasting about 1 hour, enjoying the Amazonian landscape and the lush vegetation that will accompany us along the way until we reach the waterfall. Once at the Pucayaquillo Waterfall, we’ll have time to relax, enjoy its refreshing waters, and take in the natural beauty of this corner of the San Martín region. After this experience, we’ll head to enjoy a delicious jungle-style meal on the banks of the Huallaga River, surrounded by a pleasant natural setting. Finally, we’ll begin our return to Tarapoto, arriving in the city at dusk and bringing this unforgettable experience of nature and adventure to a close.
