What to expect

Experience the magic of snowshoeing in the Arctic landscape of Tromsø. Walk through snowy forests on a guided tour with a local guide. Enjoy unique Arctic daylight and sweeping views by day, or get lucky and catch the Northern Lights by night.

Meet your guide at Tromsø Skistadion, conveniently located in the city centre, next to Tromsøbadet. Here, you will get snowshoes, poles, and a headlamp before a short introduction to basic techniques.

Once ready, we set off into the winter forest. Snowshoes make it easy to move across deep snow, letting you explore peaceful terrain in an accessible way. The pace is relaxed, with time to take photos, enjoy the scenery, and hear stories and insights about Arctic nature from your guide.

Snowshoeing is a quiet and immersive way to experience the Arctic winter. Feel the crisp air, hear the soft sound of snow beneath your feet, and embrace the stillness of the forest.

No prior experience is required, making this tour suitable for almost everyone. Your guide ensures a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience, whether you seek adventure, tranquility, or a memorable Arctic moment.
