A striking modern art and cultural center on Santander’s waterfront, designed by architect Renzo Piano. Its distinctive elevated structure features bright ceramic panels, exhibition spaces, and terraces with panoramic views over the city and Bay of Santander.

    After your visit to Centro Botin, unpause the tour and continue discovering Santander: how it grew from a medieval port into a modern coastal city shaped by trade, faith, rebuilding, and its close relationship with the bay. You’ll pass some of Santander’s most important landmarks, including the Cathedral of Santander, Plaza Porticada, and the Paseo Marítimo and Los Raqueros, the much-loved bronze sculptures looking out over the bay. The tour finishes at the lift to Río de la Pila hill, where you can choose to continue to the viewpoint.
