Your private safari begins with a morning pick-up in Nairobi by your dedicated guide in a luxury branded vehicle. Journey north on a scenic five-hour drive, passing farmlands and the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kenya. Arrive at Serena sweetwaters in Ol Pejeta conservancy in time for lunch and a warm welcome. After settling in, head out on your first afternoon game drive, exploring the conservancy’s landscapes and encountering elephants, rhinos, and big cats. Return to camp for sundowners and dinner under the stars.
Wake early for a morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. Ol pejeta is renowned for its rhino population, as well as Grevy’s zebra, giraffes, and lions. After a hearty brunch back at camp, relax by the pool or enjoy a nature walk within the camp or maybe just enjoy a relaxing time watching the famous camp watering hole. In the late afternoon, set out again for another drive, or choose an exclusive night safari for the chance to see elusive nocturnal species. End the day with fine dining and the sounds of the bush all around.
Today is completely dedicated to wildlife conservation and up-close animal encounters at the incredible Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You will spend your day at the park's interactive conservation hub, getting a front-row seat to the pioneering efforts being made to protect Africa’s most vulnerable species. Highlights of the day include signing up for a truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Najin and Fatu, the last two remaining Northern White Rhinos on Earth and visiting the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a rescue haven for orphaned and abused chimps. You will also get a chance to personally feed and interact with Baraka, the famous and endearing blind black rhino who acts as a global ambassador for his species. With its unique blend of education, history, and raw safari magic, this amazing location truly offers a bit of everything for everybody in the group.
Today we leave early to head back to Nairobi, starting the morning with a hearty breakfast at the camp to fuel up for the journey ahead. As we say our goodbyes and hit the road, the adventure isn't quite over yet; the drive from the camp to the main gate often doubles as a final, bonus game drive. Keep your cameras ready, as the park's resident wildlife frequently lines the route, offering one last memorable safari experience and a beautiful send off as we officially exit the conservancy and begin our drive back to the capital.
