Key highlights include the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the emperor’s throne room, and the Palace of Heavenly Purity, where royal families lived. The Mutianyu Great Wall,belongs to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is regarded as the most beautiful part of the Great Wall in Beijing. Situated in Huairou County, it faces the Badaling Great Wall. It is connected to Juyongguan Pass in the west and Gubeikou Gateway in the east. The entire area is like a mountaintop garden. There are numerous natural springs that nourish a wide variety of plants and fruit trees, keeping the air fresh throughout the year.
