1Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2 to 3 hours away. Upon arrival, begin your first game drive through the park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive, exploring different areas of Tarangire and searching for wildlife. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to Twiga Lodge & Campsite for dinner and overnight stay. Twiga offers both lodge accommodation and camping facilities, with a restaurant and other guest amenities. 2Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable morning game drive. Explore the crater floor, home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and a variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater while surrounded by the spectacular natural scenery. After lunch, continue with a short game drive as you make your way toward the crater exit. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin the drive back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon or early evening around 5:00 pm, marking the end of your safari.
