BOOKING ID SUBMISSION RULES
1. International visitors: Forbidden City requires original passport; Tiananmen Square requires original ordinary passport with visa-free status or L/M/F/G/D visa only. Visitors holding diplomatic, official and special visas shall apply for access approval from relevant departments independently. We offer no booking service and take no responsibility if you visit alone and get refused entry.

The Tiananmen area may be temporarily closed due to sudden official arrangements or state receptions out of our control. If you fail to enter on your scheduled date, you can either reschedule your visit or apply for a full refund.
Morning entry to Tiananmen Square: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Afternoon entry: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM. There are 4 security check entrances for Tiananmen Square. We will send you the entrance map in advance. Please present your original passport used for reservation at the security check. The passport number must exactly match the one used for booking. After visiting the square, you may walk through Tiananmen Gate to the Meridian Gate (Wumen) for the Forbidden City. Security waiting times are uncertain and depend on daily conditions. During peak seasons, the wait may be 1 to 2 hours,If you prefer not to queue, you may go directly to the Forbidden City to Meridian Gate. Tiananmen Square is one of the largest and most iconic public squares in the world, located at the heart of Beijing. It carries great historical and cultural significance and is home to famous landmarks such as the Monument to the People's Heroes and the Great Hall of the People.
Palace Museum Morning entry: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Afternoon entry: 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM. The Meridian Gate (Wumen) is the only official security entrance to the Palace Museum. Please present your original passport for ticket check. The passport number must exactly match the one used for booking. If you visit Tiananmen Square first, you may walk through Tiananmen Gate directly to the Meridian Gate entrance. If you do not visit the square, you may go to Donghua Gate (East Gate) first, then walk along the river to the Meridian Gate (South Gate). The Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, was the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and home to 24 emperors. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved ancient imperial architectural complexes in the world.
