What to expect

See Queenstown from a whole new perspective with a scenic parasailing flight high above Lake Wakatipu.

Your experience begins on the Queenstown waterfront, where you'll meet the Paraflights crew and board the purpose-built parasailing boat. Cruise out onto Lake Wakatipu before taking off directly from the back of the boat — no swimming or getting wet required.

Rise smoothly to heights of up to 600 ft above the lake and take in panoramic views across Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains, including The Remarkables. Enjoy approximately 10–12 minutes in the air before gently descending back onto the boat.

Choose to fly solo, tandem or triple, making Paraflights a great option for couples, families, friends and solo travelers. Take-off and landing are completely dry, so you can enjoy an unforgettable view of Queenstown without needing to change clothes or spend the rest of your day wet.
