A private, all-inclusive Hunter Valley day. Not a group tour. Just you, a personal guide, and a day shaped entirely around what you love.
Everything included. Private transport from your Sydney hotel, tastings at three handpicked wineries, a savoury Aussie pie and wine pairing for lunch, and a curated fourth experience chosen by you on the day.
We drive south through the breathtaking Wollombi Valley and stop in one of Australia's oldest settlements, the original government town when the Hunter Valley was first opened up.
History, stories, and a coffee before the wine begins.
Three handpicked wineries. Classic Hunter Semillon, the wine this region made famous. Shiraz or Chardonnay explored in a way that actually makes sense.
Your fourth stop, your choice. Wine and cheese, wine and chocolate, or coffee and cake in the valley.
No hidden costs. No strangers. No rushing. Just one of the most personal days you will have in NSW.
We’ll take the scenic route to Hunter Valley via the iconic Tourist Drive 33 — a beautiful beginning to a day designed for connection, curiosity, and slowing down — just winding roads, open skies, and changing landscapes that set the tone for the day ahead. With a small group and a flexible approach, this experience feels more like a road trip with new friends than a typical tour. It's all about the kind of travel that leaves room for stories, spontaneity, and soul.
Wollombi is a charming, historic village where time seems to stand still. We'll explore its quaint shops, heritage buildings, and tranquil vibes and grab a quick coffee.
You begin at one of the Hunter’s most historic family wineries, established in 1858. This is where the region’s story starts. You’ll taste classic, savoury, dry wines made from some of the oldest producing vines in the country, including their signature Semillon, known for its fresh citrus notes that develop beautifully with age. It’s not about trends here, it’s about tradition, balance, and understanding what makes this region unique.
Vinery 2. We shift into something bolder. You’ll explore big reds and compare Shiraz or Chardonnay from different Australian regions, getting a real sense of how climate and terroir shape flavour. Not just a drink, but something you actually experience and understand.
Next comes the personal side of the Hunter. You’ll visit a boutique, family-run winery representing a new generation of winemaking, where creativity and expression come through in every pour. This stop is paired with a savoury Aussie pie tasting that becomes your lunch.
And then, a sweet finish. Enjoy a guided wine and chocolate pairing, where flavours are carefully matched to bring out the best in both. From lighter wines with delicate chocolate to richer reds with deeper notes, it’s a relaxed and indulgent way to end the day.
Return to Sydney via Highway7 After a full day of exploring, well head back to Sydney the fast way. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride maybe even a nap while we cruise down the highway with good music and good vibes.
