Experience traditional Japanese kimono just steps away from Mt. Fuji Station. Choose from a variety of kimono styles, with professional dressing, hairstyling, hair accessories, footwear, and small bags included.
After getting dressed, explore Fujiyoshida at your own pace and enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. Optional smartphone or professional photography packages are also available for guests who would like photos taken during their experience.
Our friendly staff can assist guests in Japanese, English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese. The experience is suitable for couples, families, friends, and solo travelers.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please come directly to KIMONO MEGU, about 2 minute walk from Fujisan Station. Look for a navy blue curtain with the Japanese word “着付” and a mannequin wearing kimono at the entrance. Please show your booking confirmation to our staff when you arrive.
What to expect
After getting dressed, you are free to explore Fujiyoshida and enjoy taking photos with Mt. Fuji as your backdrop.
Photography is optional and is only included when you select a photography package during booking.
Kimono rental guests may return their kimono on the same day before 5:00 PM, use our self-return service until 8:00 PM, or return it the following morning.
Dressing usually takes approximately 45–60 minutes. After dressing, you may enjoy the kimono for the rest of the day.
