We meet on the corner of the streets Keplerova from the North and Pohořelec from the East. I will be standing there with a sign "Tales of Prague" written on it. You can get there by public transport (tram stop Pohořelec), ride sharing apps or on foot, but note that it is on the top of the hill.

    We will walk through the quiet and amazingly preserved neighborhood of the New World, a place unspoilt by tourist crowds and keeping its authentic charm, and tell stories of some of its inhabitants.     We will get to the impressive square where we will see all of the biggest and most prominent palaces - the Salm, the Schwarzenberg, the Tuscany, or the Archbishop palace. The square is also the gateway to the Prague Castle, so we will talk about its strategic position above the city and its importance as it continues to be the seat of the Czech president. Moreover, we will take a moment to admire the scenic view of the city before we continue to the Castle itself.

    Second Courtyard Of Prague Castle

    Passing through the courtyards, we will see some of the oldest remains of the very first settlement of the Castle and explain how it evolved to the current version with the help of some of the most famous kings and emperors.

    We must admire the monumental cathedral dedicated to Saint Vitus - the biggest dominant of the castle and thus of the whole city.     Old Royal Palace

    The Old Royal Palace contains the most important hall of the Castle, the Vladislav hall, the place where the crown jewels are put on display once a year. Moreover, a peculiar historical event took place in the Palace and infamously started one of the bloodiest wars in European history.

    Golden Lane

    Finally, we will be able to enjoy the cute and famous Golden Lane with the tiny houses in bright colours. Depending on the weather, some of the houses might be open, in which case there may be a chance to have a look inside and even buy some souvenirs, such as a book by Franz Kafka written in the very same house.
