Enjoy Santo Domingo as a trip should be enjoyed: with time for what catches your attention and the freedom to make it yours. If you want to take a photo, look at something more calmly, or continue a conversation, that moment is also part of the tour.
This private experience departs from Santo Domingo and is just for you and your companions. I will pick you up at your accommodation in the city and we will visit tourist sites and points of interest while I tell you their history and how we live here.
I propose the route and I take care of the details. You can let yourself go, ask and tell me what you would like to enjoy a little more. We adapt the visit to your interests, energy, and walking ability, within the reserved time.
Private transportation with air conditioning and the specified visitor entries are included, with those expenses already covered. You also get food, museum, and activity recommendations to keep enjoying the city.

Meeting and pickup
Pickup is included in hotels and accommodations within the city of Santo Domingo, as well as at the San Soucí cruise port.
I can also pick you up in Juan Dolio, Boca Chica, or the Américas International Airport (SDQ) for a supplement of US$20 for a private group.
When booking, tell me the name of your hotel, the address of your Airbnb, or the point where you prefer to be picked up. If you arrive by cruise, include the name of the ship and its arrival and departure time. If you arrive at the airport, share the flight number and arrival time.
I will confirm the exact time and pickup point. For pickups outside of Santo Domingo or at the airport, write to me before booking to coordinate the details.

Discover a jungle corner between caves and lakes, in the middle of a neighborhood in Santo Domingo. Go down between rock walls and vegetation until you find clear blue-toned waters that change with the light. From the street, it's hard to imagine the landscape that opens down here. We will traverse your paths and stop to observe the lakes and take photographs. The access has stairs and some uneven sections

2Columbus Lighthouse (Faro A Colon)
Enter the Columbus Lighthouse and discover a museum with exhibits from different countries: objects, images, and details that spark curiosity and take you from one culture to another. Part of the charm is in finding things that seem to have stopped in time. As you tour its rooms, you will be able to observe how technology, our tastes, and the ways of telling stories have changed. There will be a lot to see and talk about, beyond the size of the monument. Inaugurated in 1992 to commemorate the 500 years of Christopher Columbus's arrival in America, the Lighthouse keeps another part of the experience inside that deserves to be discovered.

3Casa del Cordon
Discover what life was like on this island before the arrival of the Europeans. Inside the House of the Cordón you will find more than 350 original archaeological pieces that bring you closer to the Taínos and other peoples who inhabited these lands. Observe the faces carved on their figures, the animals represented in the stone, and the details of their ceramic objects. Each piece gives us clues about their beliefs, their customs, and their daily life. We will tour the exhibition discussing what sparked your curiosity the most. All this inside a sixteenth-century house: a place where colonial architecture holds a history that began much earlier.

Discover other corners of the Dominican Republic without leaving the Colonial Zone. At the Banreservas Cultural Center, the audiovisual experience "Discover Virtual RD" takes you through beaches, mountains, and emblematic places in the country, also bringing you closer to its gastronomy and culture. Let yourself be surprised by landscapes you might not have known and find ideas to keep exploring. Afterward, we can talk about what caught your attention the most and how you could include some of those places in a future tour.
