Experience Iceland’s Northern Lights on a private aurora tour designed for couples, families, and small groups who want a more personal and flexible evening. Travel in comfort in a Mercedes V-Class with a professional driver-guide educated at the Icelandic Guide School and backed by over 12 years of experience in Icelandic tourism. Instead of following a fixed route, we use current cloud cover and aurora conditions to choose the best viewing area available that night. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere away from city lights, local insights along the way, and hot chocolate while waiting for the sky to come alive. With a maximum of six guests, the experience stays comfortable, personal, and unhurried.

Meeting and pickup
Pick-up starts 15 minutes before departure. Please be ready in the hotel lobby and look for a black Mercedes-Benz V-Class with the Cool Holidays Travel logo. As Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, departure time may be slightly adjusted depending on weather and aurora forecasts.

Your private guide will choose the best location each night based on real-time forecasts and weather conditions, giving you the highest chance of witnessing this magical display. Wrapped in cozy blankets, with warm chocolate drinks in hand, you’ll enjoy stories, local legends, and tips for capturing the perfect aurora photo. If nature cooperates, shimmering green, white, and sometimes purple lights will paint the sky in a once-in-a-lifetime celestial show.
