As you make your way along the scenic trail, you’ll be surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and crystal-clear sea views.
Along the path, your guide will reveal archaeological remains dating back to the Punic and Roman eras, as well as ancient coastal watchtowers once used to defend the island from invaders.
This hike is also a journey through myths and local legends that bring the Devil’s Saddle to life: you’ll hear fascinating local tales about the hidden history of this unique place.
At the summit, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views over the city of Cagliari, Poetto Beach, and the Molentargius Lagoon, often dotted with pink flamingos.

A certified hiking guide will lead you to the top of the Devil's Saddle, where you'll enjoy stunning views of the entire city of Cagliari, Poetto Beach, and the Molentargius Lagoon. Along the trail, you’ll encounter Punic and Roman archaeological remains hidden among the vegetation, as well as ancient coastal towers once built to defend these coasts. During the hike, you’ll uncover the ancient legends and tales that bring this place to life. The tour will conclude with a breathtaking sunset over the city of Cagliari.
