This unique full-day sea experience shows São Miguel from a completely different perspective. Departing from the fishing harbor of Rabo de Peixe, you’ll enter sea caves, snorkel in Santa Iria Bay, and cruise along the island’s scenic coastline with local snacks on board. The journey also includes traditional “fofas” in Povoação, lunch in Ribeira Quente, “Queijadas da Vila” in Vila Franca do Campo, and a scenic passage by the iconic Vila Franca do Campo Islet.

    Your experience begins at Clube Naval de Rabo de Peixe, located inside the fishing harbour of Rabo de Peixe, one of the most authentic coastal areas in São Miguel. This is the home base of AG Expeditions and the starting point of your full-day sea journey. When you arrive, look for the orange AG Expeditions flags, our orange logo at the entrance, and our team wearing orange jackets. Our crew will welcome you, complete check-in, introduce the experience, and prepare you for boarding before setting off along the coast.
