Our hand-building ceramic workshop gives you a hands-on introduction to pottery, guiding you from raw clay to a finished, functional piece you can truly use. You’ll learn how to form your mug, travel tumbler, bowl, or a set of espresso cups from scratch, understand the basics of clay structure, and explore simple techniques for adding texture and decoration. The best part? Your finished product will be fully food-safe, durable, dishwasher-friendly, and made to last for years. It’s a warm, welcoming environment designed for beginners—perfect for relaxing, getting creative, and enjoying a memorable experience during your stay in Honolulu. Join us for a fun, small-group class and a relaxing morning you’ll truly enjoy. Each session lasts 2 to 2.5 hours and is open to all ages and skill levels.

Meeting and pickup
The ceramic studio is located just a short walk from Waikiki. We are located on Diamond Head Road at the tip of Kapiolani Park. Once you arrive, please use the gate on the right side and ring the bell. Parking is limited on site.
What to expect
No experience needed! You’ll be guided step-by-step by a friendly, experienced ceramic artist as you shape your piece and add textures, patterns, and personal touches to make it uniquely yours.
Perfect for locals or visitors looking for a creative experience and a handmade Honolulu keepsake. After the workshop, choose your favorite glaze color and we’ll professionally glaze and fire your creation. Your finished piece will be food-safe, dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe.
Pick it up when it’s ready, or we can ship it to you via USPS or UPS.
