This exclusive cooking class is much more than a cooking lesson – it is an authentic taste of the Ligurian way of life.

In the historic district of Porto Maurizio in Imperia, you will spend around 4 enjoyable hours in a relaxed atmosphere. After a welcome with the famous Focaccia di Recco, freshly prepared by Patti, you will discover the secrets of traditional Ligurian cuisine.

Together, you will prepare classic Ligurian focaccia, fresh handmade pasta, pesto made in a traditional marble mortar, and sweet Gobeletti – delicate shortcrust pastries filled with apricot jam.

While cooking, Patti will share stories about local traditions, Ligurian culture, and the renowned Taggiasca olive oil. Step by step, you will learn authentic recipes passed down through generations.

At the end of the class, we will enjoy the dishes we have prepared together, accompanied by local wine.

A warm, authentic, and unforgettable experience for anyone who wants to truly experience Liguria.

Hands-On Ligurian Cooking Class – Hosted by Patrizia
After traveling the world and discovering many cuisines, I chose to settle in my beloved Liguria — a land of genuine, bold flavors.

In the heart of Imperia Porto Maurizio, I offer an authentic hands-on cooking class where I teach how to make Genoese focaccia, fresh pasta, and pesto made in a mortar.

Each lesson is practical, fun, and ends at the table — just like in Ligurian families.

I welcome guests in English, German, and Italian, in a warm and friendly setting.

Focaccia genovese – croccante fuori e morbida dentro, fatta con ingredienti semplici ma autentici.
Pasta fresca fatta a mano – come trofie, tagliatelle o gnocchi, impastata e formata da te.
Pesto al mortaio – preparato nel modo tradizionale, con basilico fresco, aglio, pinoli, parmigiano e olio ligure.

Tutti partecipano attivamente: impastiamo, stendiamo, pestiamo e cuciniamo insieme.
Alla fine, ci sediamo a tavola per gustare ciò che abbiamo preparato, accompagnato magari da un bicchiere di vino locale.
La lezione è adatta a tutti, anche a chi è alle prime armi in cucina.
Parlo italiano, inglese e tedesco, e creo un’atmosfera calda, divertente e autentica.
