Even better—our friendly English-speaking guides walk you through eight distinct sakes, then help you blend an original bottle using lab-style flasks and pipettes, no experience needed.
This isn't a "watch the master" show. It's yours to shape: adjust sweetness, dryness, and aroma until you land on a flavor nobody else has ever made. Take it home in a bottle with a label you designed yourself—a memory made with your own hands, not bought off a shelf.
Set in lively Kawaramachi, steps from Nishiki Market and Kiyomizudera, this fully indoor studio reimagines a centuries-old Kyoto blending tradition for today's traveler. What's Included
Meeting and pickup
8 minutes on foot from Hankyu Line Kyoto "Kawaramachi station" or from Keihan Line "Kiyomizu Gojo station". 10 minutes by taxi from "Kyoto station". At the gate, there is a beige curtain with the shop's logo on it. Going further in, you will find the reception desk.
What to expect

Taste 8 different sakes, discover your favorite flavors, and create a sake that's uniquely yours. Our English-speaking navigator will guide you through this fun, hands-on experience.
Activity Description
Step 1 — Discover
Learn the basics of sake through an easy-to-understand and enjoyable introduction.
Step 2 — Taste & Explore
Taste 8 different types of sake and discover the flavors you enjoy most.
Step 3 — Create
Choose your favorite sakes and blend them to create your own original sake. This is your first step as a sake blender!
Step 4 — Make It Yours
Taste and refine your creation twice, then finalize your recipe and give your sake a name. Your one-of-a-kind original blended sake, “My Sake,” will be bottled in a 200ml bottle for you to take home.
