The Cultural Heritage Boat Tour of the Elaphite Islands is a guided journey that seamlessly blends history, nature, and relaxation into one unforgettable day at sea. At midday, we’ll anchor at a charming restaurant famous for its Mediterranean cuisine and panoramic sea-view terrace—an idyllic pause to enjoy local flavors before continuing your coastal adventure. Lapadska obala pier (furthest out) The customers should look for a boat with our company logo on it. Additionally, the skipper will be wearing a polo shirt with our logo. If you recommend so, we can have the skipper walk along the pier with the name of the customer who has made the reservation.
After a 30-minute boat trip we stop at Gornje Čelo village on the island of Kolocep and disembark. The island of Kolocep is famous for its early Christian churches. Our guide leads us to the Saint Anthony's Church Da Padua (11th century) through the Gornje Čelo village and continues a 20 minute walk to the Donje Čelo Village. Half way between the villages we stop at St. Nicholas Church (9th century) and graveyard. We embark once again and head towards the island of Lopud.
The island of Lopud is our next stop. First we take a 20 minute walk to the Our Lady of Šunj Church, then on our way back the guide takes us to The Holy Trinity Church and St. Mary of Špilica Church and Franciscan Monastery. We learn about the islands rich maritime past and about recent renovations its cultural landmarks have undergone.
Our third stop is the village of Sudjuradj on the island of Sipan. The idea is to learn about the 16th century summerhouse culture, its two famous summerhouses that have recently been renovated (The Skočibuha Family Summerhouse and The Ghetaldić Family Summerhouse), continue to The Church of Holy Spirit (10 minutes walk) and end our tour at the Goravica winery. In Sudjuradj we will make an optional break for lunch.
