    Day 01: Marrakech – high atlas – camel tour – desert night

    Merzouga

    Pick up from the Riad where they stay in Marrakech to leave with private vehicle and cross the high atlas crodillera where we will make several stops to enjoy the wonderful landscapes that nature offers us, passing through the city of Ouarzazate known as the gateway to the desert for direct South-East direction of the country passing through Berber villages that still inhabit the desert area, in the afternoon we will arrive at the impressive dunes of Merzouga, where we leave in a caravan of camels to enter the heart of the dunes and contemplate an unforgettable sunset. We will arrive with the dromedaries at the camp where we will stay in Haimas ‘’ Tents made with dromedary hair ‘’ as used by desert nomads. Dinner and night in Haimas in the heart of the desert under a spectacular blanket of stars.

  • Day 2

    Day 02: Merzouga Desert – 4x4 route – nomadic villages – Todra Gorges – Valle del dades

    After a delicious breakfast in the Merzouga desert, we will begin an adventure surrounding the stunning dunes of Erg Chebbi, home to some of the highest dunes in Morocco. During the tour we will discover unique desert landscapes and visit a nomadic family to learn about their Berber lifestyle and traditions. We will continue to the village of Khamlia, famous for its gnawa music, before leaving for Rissani and its authentic traditional market (market days are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday). Then we will continue to Erfoud, known for its fossils and fossilized marble. The journey continues through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad until you reach the spectacular Todra Gorges, one of the most impressive canyons in Morocco, with huge rocky walls ideal for walking and enjoying nature. In the afternoon we will continue to the beautiful Dades Valley, where we will spend the night in a cozy riad with dinner included.

    Day 03: Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou – Ounila Valley – Telouat - Marrakech

    Marrakech

    After breakfast in the riad of the Dades Valley, we will leave for the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most emblematic places of Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This stunning fortified village has been the scene of films and series such as Gladiator, Sahara and Game of Thrones. We will continue to the Kasbah de Telouet, a hidden less touristic gem where we will discover the history of ancient caravans and traditional Berber architecture together with a local guide. The journey continues through the beautiful Ounila Valley, traversing small Berber villages and charming mountain landscapes. Later we will cross the spectacular port of Tizi n’Tichka, the highest mountain pass in Morocco, with incredible panoramic views of the High Atlas. Before arriving in Marrakech, we will stop at an argan oil cooperative to learn about its traditional secrets and benefits. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
