Treasure Hunt in the British Museum

2 to 3 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

Immerse yourself in history with a unique treasure hunt at the British Museum, the world’s cultural hub. Teams of 2–4 embark on a quest to uncover treasures, from heavy hitters such as the Rosetta Stone & Parthenon marbles to little-visited Korean buddhas & Viking masks, using clues and engaging stories.

This dynamic format promotes exploration as your team navigates the museum freely, capturing team photos and completing fun, engaging challenges for bonus points (how you win!) along the way.

With a focus on teamwork, each member plays a vital role, making it perfect for groups of friends, family travel, corporate team-building events birthday doos or solo travellers -- all the while meeting new people along the way! Fun for all ages, from inter-generational teams to adults, you'll walk away with fun memories and great photos!

    The British Museum

Families, Individuals and groups meet within the British Museum for a Treasure Hunt around the UK's most visited attraction. After a mission briefing by your Culture Quest host, teams (of 2-4 people) are dispatched with their Culture Quest booklet to find and photo themselves with as many pieces of treasure as possible within the given time. Light-hearted bonus challenges are embedded in your hunt, requiring engagement, interaction - and laughs - within the "World's Museum". After 90 mins-2 hours of hunting we regroup for a sprightly prize-giving ceremony. The treasure hunt intentionally includes more treasures than you can find, in case you want to return to the galleries after your hunt for a leisurely, yet still targeted visit. Including treasures from Parthenon pediments to Egypt’s Rosetta Stone, Viking chess pieces to lost worlds of Mesopotamia, Mexico, and the Far East — this is your passport to the past! And after all, who doesn’t want to vie for museum glory?
