Jungle Beach From Japanese Peace Pagoda If you are visiting the famous Unawatuna site, the Japanese Peace Pagoda, you are in luck. Right down the street from the Buddhist temple is the trail to the best Jungle Beach. I can’t say for certain, but this part seems like the less touristy segment of the beach. You follow the trail past a few guest houses and restaurants, then make your way down a mess of rocks and tree roots until you emerge with a view of a gorgeous sandy beach surrounded by jungle.
