Create a perfume that is truly your own in Hongdae, Seoul. Start by choosing your favorite base fragrance from 20 perfumes inspired by well-known fragrance styles, then explore 30 individual scent notes and select the ones you love to create your personal blend. Compare different combinations before making your final 50 ml perfume.
With step-by-step guidance throughout the experience, even first-time perfume makers can easily create a scent they love. At the end, personalize your bottle and take home a fragrance made entirely by you — a unique souvenir from Seoul.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Our studio is located near Hongik Univ. Station (Exit 9). Please arrive at the studio 5–10 minutes before your session. Our staff will be waiting to greet you at the entrance.
What to expect
You’ll start by smelling over 30 unique single-note ingredients, such as white musk, bergamot, cotton, rose, and sandalwood. Then, you’ll choose a brand-type base fragrance inspired by luxury houses like Byredo, Jo Malone, Tom Ford, Le Labo, and Chanel.
With the guidance of a professional scent curator, you will:
Learn about top, middle, and base notes
Identify your personal scent preferences
Select up to 6 ingredients to layer on your base fragrance
Blend your own 50ml signature perfume using professional perfumery tools
Label your bottle with your name or message
Finish with luxurious packaging and optional scent “character sticker”
This hands-on workshop is perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers looking for a unique cultural activity. You'll leave with a personalized perfume that reflects your mood, personality, and memories of Seoul.
