Under the guidance of Anthi, a seasoned farmer with over a decade of experience, learn the traditional techniques of milking goats and crafting local cheeses like manoura. After your hands-on experience, savor a delicious homemade dinner featuring authentic vegeterian dishes (*meat dishes available only upon request). Perfect for families and couples, this immersive activity invites everyone to enjoy farm life while creating unforgettable memories.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
- Transfers to/from the Apollonia free public parking area are always available.
- Transfers to/from other areas of Sifnos are available upon request and subject to availability.
- Picking you up: We will send you a message with more information (type of car, exact meeting point, person picking you up) following the confirmation of your reservation. - Meeting directly at the farm: Step inside the farm and come towards the house. We will be waiting for you there.
What to expect
- You'll be welcomed by Anthi directly at the farm at 6pm or 7pm (depending on the season). Don’t worry if you don’t have transportation — Anthi can arrange to pick you up from the public parking area in Apollonia (for transfers from other locations, possible upon request and availability)
- Begin your visit by feeding the farm’s friendly goats and other animals. This is a fun, interactive way to bond with our animals and start to feel like a local farmer.
- Learn the art of goat milking from Anthi. Feeling adventurous? Try your hand at milking one of the goats yourself!
- Learn how fresh milk is transformed into manoura (delicious Sifnos cheese, a local island specialty).
- Dinner included: Indulge in a full traditional dinner, featuring a variety of authentic local dishes.
