What to expect

Experience an authentic Tuscan cooking class in the countryside of San Gimignano, hosted by Massimo, sommelier and local cooking experience host.

The experience takes place at Casalchino, a historic rural estate along the ancient Via Francigena route, surrounded by vineyards, cypress trees, rolling hills, and panoramic Tuscan views.

In a relaxed small-group setting, you will prepare fresh handmade pasta using local and seasonal ingredients while discovering Tuscan traditions, local wines, and the simple hospitality of the countryside.

During the class, we will prepare:

Bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and basil

Handmade egg noodles

Seasonal Tuscan sauce

Homemade tiramisu

At the end of the experience, everyone gathers around the table for a shared Tuscan lunch paired with local wines such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano or Chianti Colli Senesi, along with water and coffee.

From the panoramic setting of Casalchino, the view opens across the Val d’Elsa countryside toward the Chianti hills.
