    AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU

    At Auschwitz II-Birkenau, travelers will visit the vast grounds of the largest extermination camp. You will walk along the railway tracks leading through the iconic brick gatehouse to the unloading ramp (Selektionsrampe). Guided by an official museum educator, you will see the remains of the wooden barracks, watchtowers, and the ruins of the gas chambers and crematoria, honoring the memory of the victims in a solemn atmosphere.
